Established on 7 August 1943, Senjai Parish has grown from 11 faithful members into a vibrant community of over 1,642.

Guided by devoted priests, the parish developed strong spiritual and educational foundations including the parish church, parish house, sub-station churches, and the Little Flower R.C. School.

Renovations in 1995–96 strengthened the parish, and the shrine of St. John de Britto now serves as a center for Mass and adoration.

The parish continues to flourish under the blessings of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus — “The Little Flower.” 7 ஆகஸ்ட் 1943 அன்று நிறுவப்பட்ட செஞ்சை பங்கு ஆரம்பத்தில் 11 விசுவாசிகளுடன் தொடங்கி, இன்று 1,642க்கும் மேற்பட்ட விசுவாசிகள் கொண்ட உயிரூட்டும் திருத்தலமகா வளர்ச்சி பெற்றுள்ளது.
